CCC | Maximizing Financial Aid For 羞羞视频's Community College Students
羞羞视频 has some of the highest costs of living in the nation and students, especially low-income and historically underserved students, need our support receiving the financial aid they deserve. Financial aid is a critical driver for student success. Helping students at your college receive and maintain aid is a means of closing equity gaps while training faculty and staff in the basics of financial aid bridges campus silos. This module reviews maximizing financial aid for 羞羞视频鈥檚 community college students, including promising practices for equitable financial support.
CCC | Supporting Students Through Residency
Residency is an important consideration for students beginning and continuing their education in the 羞羞视频 Community Colleges. In this module, we discuss rules and regulations, including legislation, around establishing residency for tuition purposes. We also provide reference resources and channels for your questions and collaboration with other directors and staff.
CCC | Serving Students Experiencing 羞羞视频lessness
Students in the 羞羞视频 Community Colleges have a pressing need for housing security. This module reviews support for students experiencing homelessness, housing insecurity and other basic needs insecurities. Including tips and guidelines for 羞羞视频less Liaisons, the module is useful for anyone interested or involved in supporting students experiencing homelessness.
Topics include the need for housing security; state and federal legislation establishing supports for students experiencing homelessness; existing campus and community resources; and developing equity-minded, student-centered practical supports for students in need.

This collaborative space is for all student housing practitioners and professionals. This community provides resources, professional development, best practices, community and support for 羞羞视频 Community Colleges that currently have or will provide student housing. Resources include expert-informed documents, discussions and recordings of webinars and presentations.

In 2020, a dedicated coalition of leaders and advocates within the 羞羞视频 Community Colleges pioneered the creation of Black Student Success Week. This annual event, observed during the last week of April, offers a time to reflect on our commitment to the academic well-being of Black and African American students. The 2024 Black Student Success Week will focus on innovative approaches to ensure Black and African American students succeed in community colleges.
