Sept. 16, 2021 - Vision in Action No.48

UNDOCUMENTED STUDENT ACTION WEEK LEARNING SESSIONS
The fifth annual Undocumented Student Action Week will be held October 18-22, 2021. In addition to participating in the systemwide webinars, we are encouraging community colleges to host their own events during Action Week or launch an effort that supports undocumented students that are tailored to their campus needs. To support colleges with the development of these local efforts, the ذكذكتسئµ Community Colleges, the Foundation for ذكذكتسئµ Community Colleges and the Community Colleges League of ذكذكتسئµ will be coordinating a week of special Learning Sessions in areas such as financial aid, student leadership, research, best practices and other high impact strategies to support undocumented students. Learning Session training modules will be held virtually one month prior to Action Week, September 21-24, in order to provide colleges with sufficient time to prepare for Action Week events.
